The imagination


Sitting alone in the deepest and darkest wood,
with neither light nor a star in the extensive sky.
Just sitting there thinking, moaning, almost crying,
Hearing a sound and asking, is that thy
voice I hear, is that thy
cold, quiet breath in my neck?
I didn t dare to move..

A few twigs I heard breaking behind me,
as if someone s approaching, playing hide and seek.
I ve looked around, but saw nothing more than the
frightened night, which is bleak
and so quiet, which is bleak
is that what s blinding my eyes?
I didn t dare to think..

Suddenly, a silhouette was passing by,
It scared me, though I felt faith.
Never felt these emotions together,
I was astonished when a voice was whispering; wait
before you run, a voice whispered; wait
just one second and listen.
I dared to listen.

In a moment there it stood in front of me,
I didn t know what I had to expect of yore.
But now my eyes have seen it, while
I didn t know what was happening, before
this, I thought I was dreaming, before
this, I thought it was just a fancy,
I didn t dare to speak..

I looked in its eyes,
which told me the whole fascinating story,
of the bloody fight which he has fought,
just to protect this holy wood of glory
which has got the name Sandore, this holy wood of glory
and I was just sitting there,
I didn t dare to breathe..

The imagination gave me a feeling,
which was so sincere and flawless,
that I began to feel so happy
like I never did before, and all of the sadness
he was taking away, and all the sadness
wasn t mine anymore..
I dared to smile.
